Faire Tyme Fashions
Lisa Gilber, owner of Faire Tyme Fashions, began re-enacting 30 years ago. She was co-creator of the successful Heritage Days - "The Faire at the Forks", in Chatham.
It was because of this event that she started her business in 2004. Since that time she has offered the public fashions for men and women, from the 18th and 19th centuries, with an emphasis on the Regency period.
Lisa is a historian and has been researching historical fashions for many years, and has travelled to many museums, in North America and Europe, to examine existing garments. She specializes in historically accuraate garment, largely hand-sewn, and she can reproduce a garment from a picture.
Lisa welcomes custom orders at any time.
Lisa is also a former teacher, and has given countless presentations on the War of 1812 time period. Contact her if you are looking for a workshop leader, or presenter, on any topic relating to the War of 1812
